As the user zooms closer to the study area, more detail of the Colorado map is revealed.

Layer 1 - Displays major cities, interstates, and an outline of National Forests and Parks.

 

Layer 2 - The user sees the interstate along with major highways. At this scale the names of the forests and parks begin to appear, in order to have a better understanding of which forests are next to one another.

 

Layer3 - The third layer symbols appear. The yellow inverted triangles represent where both metallic and nonmetallic minerals that can be found at those sites.

Hyperlink

Above Photos: Clicking on a town will allow the user to see the properties of that town - at the bottom is a hyperlink which is attached to the town's homepage

 

Below Photos: By clicking onto a mineral site, the user can see what minerals can be found there. At the bottom the properties there is a hyperlink leading to a photo of that mineral. In this case, the mineral is Gold.
